FAQ

Short answers to the questions we hear most.

Who is behind Casino Whitmore?

Casino Whitmore is an independent UK editorial project established in 2026. We review online casinos licensed by the UK Gambling Commission and publish our findings for adults aged 18 and over.

Are the casinos you list licensed in the UK?

Yes. We only feature operators that hold an active UK Gambling Commission licence. Each review shows the licence account number and a direct link to the official public register so you can check it yourself.

How do you rate each casino?

We score five areas: licence and trust, payments and withdrawals, mobile experience, customer support, and safer gambling tools. Each area is scored out of 10 and combined into an overall rating.

Do you earn money from the brands you list?

We may receive a commission if you register with a brand through our links. This never affects our scores, and it costs you nothing extra. Full details are on our Disclosure page.

Who can sign up at the casinos you review?

Only adults aged 18 or over who are located in the United Kingdom. Every licensed operator must verify your age and identity before you can gamble.

Can I use a credit card to deposit?

No. Since April 2020, UK-licensed operators are not permitted to accept credit cards for gambling. Debit cards, e-wallets and bank transfers are common alternatives.

What should I do if gambling stops being fun?

Stop and take a break. You can self-exclude from all UK-licensed operators through GamStop, speak to the National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133, or visit BeGambleAware and Gamblers Anonymous for free, confidential support.

How do I contact you?
